Tuesday, August 7th is Michigan’s primary election day so be sure to get out and vote!  Polls are open from 7am until 8pm, but if you’re in line before 8, you will still be allowed to vote.  If you will be out of town on election day then you can vote with an in-person absentee ballot by going to your local clerk’s office up to the Saturday before the election.  Also, since this is a primary, you cannot split your ticket.  You can only vote in one party’s primary.   If you vote in more than one, your entire ballot will be invalid.  Don’t forget to vote and be sure to remind your friends about how important it is to make your voice heard at the polls!
